DEFINITIONS -
- Keyed alike - all locks can be opened by the same key
- Keyed different - all locks have a unique key which only opens that lock
- Master keyed - all locks can be opened by a master key in addition to their own key. The master key is typically reserved for management or facilities personnel.
- Non key retaining - key removable in locked or unlocked positions
- Key retaining - key removable in locked position only
